The Free Track

For those of you who have a copy of TMTDA, we are happy to present the "Track That Got Away".....

The song is called Blues For Lear and it originally appeared on the Po90 album "The Time Capsule". In 2002 during Tangent recordings, Po90 recorded this version live in the studio. A version was actually released of that naked recording on the most recent Cyclops compilation. However, this version/mix has never been released, and it has vocal and guitar overdubs by Roine Stolt. It's not a "finished product"... it's as far as we got before the whole Tangent thing materialised, so it's sort of caught in no-man's land. It's not by "The Tangent", it's something that happened on the way.

So then, It's called "Blues For Lear" and I suppose in the modern world it ought to be called "North Sea Mix" and the artist should perhaps be called "MC Andy Tillison and Parallel or 90 Degrees Crew feat.Mixmaster Roine Stolt" in order to keep in with current trends.

The Lineup for this track.....

Andy Tillison - Vocals, Organ & Synthesizer

Roine Stolt - Vocals, Bluesy Guitars and quieter solos

Sam Baine - Piano

Dan Watts - Wah Wah Guitar and LOUD solo

Alex King - Electronic and Acoustic Durhams

Ken Senior - Bass Guitar
